Day 1ARRIVAL AT MUSCAT

Meet & assist on arrival and transfer to hotel of your choice.

Day 2MUSCAT SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast we start your Oman holidays with Muscat city tour. The tour begins with a visit to Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque one of the largest mosques in the Middle East, followed by a visit to the Natural History. Later drive along the picturesque Corniche, then visit Bait Al Zubair Museum, a private collection exhibiting the wealth of Oman’s history. This will be followed by a photo stop at the residence of his Majesty Sultan Qaboos, the Al Alam Palace, which is flanked by the 16th century Portuguese forts Mirani and Jalali. Later we visit Muttrah Souq,

Day 3MUSCAT - SUR

Breakfast at Hotel. Afterthat, we depart by 4WD to sur via the scenic and rugged coastal route. This tour offers breathtaking glimpses of the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman offset by pristine white beaches. After we drive past the fishing village of Quriyat our first stop is the Bimah sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with blue green water at the bottom. Then stop at fins beach, one of the beautiful white sands beach.Drive ahead to Wadi Tiwi. The road to Tiwi winds between houses. The sight is remarkable with its lush green plantations with water flowing all year around. Picnic lunch will be served at convenient place. Reach Sur, Check in to Hotel in Sur. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4SUR - WAHIBA SANDS - NIZWA

Today we embark on a full day tour to Wadi Bani Khalid –an Oasis spot in the middle of the barren and dry mountains and then to Wahiba – the great Arabian Desert with sight seeing en route. Visit to Bedouin house, camel ride & Sand Dune Drive while at Wahiba and later proceed to Nizwa- the cultural capital of Oman. On arrival check into hotel of your choice for overnight stay at Hotel

Day 5NIZWA SIGHTSEEING

Morning we depart on a full day trip to the historical & heritage capital of Oman – Visit Nizwa souq where potteries, gold& silver wares are sold. Then visit the famous round tower fort of Nizwa, probably the best fort architecture in Oman. Later visit. Al Hamra one of the oldest villages & up to 400 years old mud houses are still occupied. Also visit the Al Hamra Falaj system, There after proceed to visit Bahla, the mystical village, known for Arabian potteries. Visit one of the pottery making units. {Closed on public holidays and Fridays} Later drive onwards to visit Jabrin castle built in 17th century, with magnificent plasterwork, wooden carvings; painted ceiling makes this castle amazingly different. Overnight at hotel in Nizwa

Day 6NIZWA - MUSCAT - SALALAH

We will depart to Seeb Airport to connect the flight to Salalah. Meet & assist on arrival and transfer to Hotel of your choice. Rest of the day free. Over night at Hotel.

Day 7SALALAH SIGHTSEEING

The tour commences with a visit to a museum to acquaint us with the rich history of Oman, dating back to 5000 years. Driving through the old town of ‘Taqa’ we arrive at the bay of ‘Sumhurum’ believed to be the location of Queen Sheeba, where trading of Frankincense took place. The ruins are spectacular, giving an insight into detailed locations of storage & living conditions. Continue on the coastal road & visit an interesting ‘2 Onion-Domed’ Mosque with an old Cemetery. We also walk through the old village of ‘Mirbat’, which displays traditional ancient Omani architecture. Return to Salalah City for lunch & thereafter, proceed west, passing-by the ruins of ‘Al Balid’. The route to the ‘Mughsail beach’ passes through isolated Frankincense trees where we make a brief stop to smell & experience the product. Visit the spectacular ‘Blow Holes’ at the Mughsail beach and the Tomb of Prohpet Job situated in the mountains. Overnight at hotel

 

Day 8SALALAH - MUSCAT

Start Salalah city tour after check our from the hotel. Visit a Garden Farms, which has groves of coconut, banana, papaya and vegetables. Photo stop of the beautiful Shanfari Mosque with its exquisite artwork and stained tiles. Visit Al Husn Souq where frankincense crystals of Dhofar and typical Dhofari frankincense burners are sold. Al Husn Palace, summer residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. We return via the Al balid Museum, which is famous for the Dhofari costumes in the south. We accept all modes of payments by Bank transfer,debit card, credit card or bank transfer to our bank account. We don’t charge any fees to pay by credit card, however your bank may charge individual fees to pay to our UK account, so make sure you check with them how best to transfer the money.

DO I NEED VACCINES FOR MY TRIP?

Please be aware it’s your responsibility to ensure you’re covered for all possible vaccinations or medications needed for your trip. We pride ourselves on being able to do many things but sadly we are not qualified physicians, so please speak with your doctor to ensure you are up to date on your recommended vaccinations. Often vaccinations need to be given well over a month prior to departure to have reached full efficacy.
